1.- A network is a set of computers connected among them.
2.- Wires, routers, Wi-Fi stations, etc.
3.- A LAN is a network which is limited to a short space, like 200 meters o just a building, and a WAN network is much bigger, covering states and whole contries.
4.- Networks have always existed, from road networks to the actual computer networks, and It seems that It’s the best way to connect things. In this case, they are cheap and can cover a wide range of space without noticing the loss of speed.

  2. jorgecantalejo Says:

    1) What is a network?
It´s the conection among some computers or machines.
    2)What are she´s hardware component?
It´s the fisical machine, that you can see and touch.
    3) What is the diference between a local area network and a wide area network?
The first diference is that LAN connects computers and WAN connect computer all around the world to a server.
    4) What advantages do you thing networks have?
For me, the comunication is an extraordinary advantage, but it has a lot more

  3. ivanfelix12 Says:

    1.- What is a network?
A network is a “net” which linkes computers where each computer is.

2.- What are its hardware components?
A network has several hardware components. Like the computers, as a terminal point of the net, the wires to link each computer. Sometimes it has a switch to act as an union point among the computers, a router to joint two nets, usually a LAN and a WAN.

3.- What is the difference between a local area network and a wide area network?
A local area network is a computers net within a limited area. And a wide area network is a net that joints long distance computers.

4.- What advantages do you think networks have?
By using networks we can share information among computers all around the world, and work in a project with other people who are in different places or even play videogames with them.

  4. manuelobama Says:

1-> what is a network? and the answer is…
a network is a collection of computers and devices connected which facilitates communications among users and allows users to share resources with other users.
2->what are it`s hardware components? and the answer is…
hardware is the physical components of a computer system
3->what is the difference between a local area network and a wide area network? and the answer is…
local area network which is usually a small network constrained to a small geographic area, but a wide area network is usually a larger network that covers a large geographic area.
4->what advantages do you think networks have? and the answer is…. …!!!!
that you can work with a lot of people who are living far

  5. caldevilla Says:

    1. A network is simply two or more computers linked together.

2.Some of its components are printers and faxes.

    3. A LAN is a network limited, as in an office or in a building; and a WAN is a network to which computers are linked all over the world.

    4. I think networks increase productivity by allowing workers to share information easily,

  6. barkinpg Says:

    What is a Network??
A Network is a collection of computers and devices connected by commucations channels that facilitates communications among users.

    What are its hardware components??
It´s a computer and all the devices that are connected.

What is the difference between a Local Area Network and a Wide Area Network?
The difference is the area that it covers.

What advantages do you think Networks have?
Access to information from other computers and users for people to improve their jobs.

  7. jpeco Says:

    1.-what is a network?
Network serves to connect some computers and you can share information and files.
    2.-What are its hardware components?
You can use harware components as printers or faxes to print your documents from your computer
3.-What is the difference between a local area network and a wide area network?
The local area is used in an office, building, house and a small room, but the wide area networks is used in the computers all over the world
4.-What advantages do you think networks have?
The advantage is that it increases productivity by allowing workers to share information easily without printing…

    1º What is a network?

A network is a collection of two or more computers connected among them, the main target is sharing resources or communicating each other.

2º What are its hardware components?

Network operation needs devices that are designed to handle certain network functions. The devices are often called networking devices or equipment some of them are routers modems, etc.

3º What is the difference between a local area network and wide area network?

Local network is a relative little area while a wide area network connects larger geographic areas, dedicated transoceanic cabling or satellite uplinks may be used to connect this type of network.

4º What advantages do you think networks have?

I think the most important advantage is the resource sharing, which provides us communication among computers all around the world.

  9. moragon Says:

    1) What’s a network?
A network is an union of some computers to exchange information.

    2) What are its hardware components?
You can link many hardware components like a printer.

    3) What’s the diferent between a local area network and a Wide area network?
A local network refers to a physical place with linked computers (like in a class or in an office) and a wide net is a more abstract concept that refers to many linked computers around the World without a physical conection.

    4) What adventages do you think networks have?
Like every electronic advance, it’s designed to facilitate our life and not to waste time and to save some money that in other situations we´d post in office material.

  10. //RA. Says:

    1) What is a network?
A network is a system that allows people to connect with other people anytime, anywhere in the world, or even all at the same time.

    2)What is a hardware component?
It’s a physical component of the PC that allows the proper working of a computer or improve their performance.

    3) What is the diference between a local area network and a wide area network?
A local area network is the interconnection of several computers and peripherals.
A Wide area network refers to a network that covers a large geographical area.

    4) What advantages do you think networks have?
There are lots of advantages: the real-time communication in different parts of the world and the immediate transmission of information are the most important from my point of view.
